24 carat gold in Bhubaneswar at Rs 53,400, check precious metals prices in twin cities of Odisha
Amid fluctuating gold and silver prices across the country, the price of 24-carat gold in Bhubaneswar reached Rs 53,400 on Saturday, which is Rs 250 less than Friday’s price.
The cost of 10 grams of yellow metal for 23 carat is Rs 51,400 while that of 22 carat gold is Rs 50,400.
Similarly, the price of 20, 18 and 14 carat gold stood at Rs 45,500, Rs 41,200 and Rs 32,700 respectively.
On Saturday, pure guinea (gold coin) is trading at Rs 41,500.
On the other hand, one kg of silver in Bhubaneswar is selling at Rs 59,300 after a fall of Rs 800 from Thursday’s price of Rs 60,100.
Notably, factors such as state taxes, excise duties and making charges change the price of gold in India.
The rupee on Friday closed 16 paise higher at 79.24 against the US dollar after the Reserve Bank hiked interest rates by 50 basis points.
In the international market, gold was trading at USD 1,789 an ounce while silver was flat at USD 20.13 an ounce.
