The Supreme Court of the country has upheld the death sentence of Manoj Pratap Singh, convicted for the rape and murder of an 8-year-old girl in Rajasthan in 2013. Earlier, the High Court had said in its decision that raping and then killing an innocent girl is a heinous crime. If such a criminal is not punished, then it will be difficult for the common man to live in the society.
