,Told the rebel MLAs – there is no need to be afraid, a big national party appreciated my decision
In response to Uddhav’s address, tweeted a three-page letter and expressed the pain of the MLAs
New Delhi : Amidst the huge turmoil within Shiv Sena of Maharashtra, leader of rebel MLAs Eknath Shinde has told fellow MLAs that there is no need to be afraid, we have a big power with us. He said a major national party has appreciated him for taking the historic decision. Also said that that party has also said that all possible help will be ensured if needed. Although Shinde has not openly taken the name of any party, but it is being linked to the BJP.
Addressing fellow MLAs at a hotel in Guwahati, Shinde said in Marathi that a national party which is a super power has told me that whatever decision you have taken is historic and they have ensured us that whatever happens. Help is needed, it will be given.
On Thursday, Shinde, a rebel Shiv Sena MLA, tweeted a three-page letter in response to CM Uddhav Thackeray’s address last night, mentioning the problems faced by the MLAs. In a letter written in Marathi on behalf of Shiv Sena leader Shinde Camp, it was written that the alleged Chanakyas gathered near you kept us away from the strategy of Rajya Sabha and Legislative Council elections. The result is now in front of everyone. We were told that you can meet us on the sixth floor, but it never happened.
MLAs do not even pick up the phone, cross voting did not happen in the elections
In the letter written to Uddhav Thackeray, it has been said that if we have contacted many times for work on our assembly constituencies, then the phone does not even pick up. We were suffering all these things and all the MLAs have tolerated it. We tried to inform the people around you but to no avail. The rebel MLAs denied the talk of cross-voting during the Rajya Sabha elections and wrote that not a single vote of Shiv Sena was cross-voted in the Rajya Sabha elections.
A big power is with us, will give all possible help if needed: Shinde
