Varun Gandhi on Agnipath Scheme: BJP MP Varun Gandhi has once again targeted the government regarding the Agnipath scheme. He has said that he is ready to give up his pension for the Agniveers.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Varun Gandhi (BJP MP Varun Gandhi) has once again targeted the central government regarding the ‘Agneepath’ scheme on Friday. He has said that he is the Agniveers (Agnipath SchemeAs an MP, he is ready to give up his pension, along with this he has appealed to the leaders to do the same. Varun Gandhi has said that if those who protect the country are not entitled to pension, then how can they be public representatives. Let us tell you that the Agneepath scheme has been started for the recruitment of soldiers in the army for four years. Opposition parties have also opposed this plan. Protests are taking place in many parts of the country against the Agneepath scheme.
Varun Gandhi has written in his tweet, ‘Agniveer who has served short term is not entitled to pension, then why this facility to public representatives? If the national guards do not have the right to pension, then I am also ready to give up my own pension. Can’t we MLAs/MPs give up our pension and ensure that Agniveers get pension?’ Earlier, while tweeting a video, he had said about this scheme, ‘When the dream of a youth dies, the dream of the whole country dies. Will Agniveers have a respectable rehabilitation after 4 years? I believe that unless the voice of the last person in the society is heard, no law should be made.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh requested
Tagging Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Twitter, Varun Gandhi said, ‘Respected Rajnath Singh ji, there are many questions in the mind of the youth of the country regarding the ‘Agneepath’ scheme. In order to get the youth out of the state of confusion, the government should make its stand clear by putting forward the policy facts related to the scheme at the earliest. So that the youth energy of the country can be used positively in the right direction. Posting another video, he said, ‘I stand with the military candidates at every step in this struggle. It is a humble request to all of you to work patiently and while maintaining democratic dignity, send your memorandums to the government through various means. Safe future is the right of every youth! Justice will be done.
