Karachi: Dua Zahra, who claimed to be married to Zaheer Ahmed after reports of her missing from Karachi, on Sunday shared the threat to her life and said that Sindh and Punjab Police is harassing her.
In a statement, she said that the Sindh police wanted to kidnap her and transfer her to Karachi, where her life could be in danger if she married of her own free will.
“I had informed my parents through a letter about the motive behind leaving the house and where I was going,” she said, adding that her parents had done this from day one. lied about the matter.
Dua Zahra said that she has married Zaheer Ahmed of her own free will and if anything happens to her then her parents, Sindh and Punjab Police will be responsible for that. “I request everyone to let us live in peace,” she said.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Sindh High Court (SHC) has directed the SSP of District East and SHO of Al-Falah Police Station to produce Dua Zehra in the court in the next hearing.

A two-member bench of the SHC headed by Justice Muhammad Iqbal Kalhoro heard Dua’s father A petition seeking recovery of the teenager who went missing from her home in Karachi and later surfaced in Punjab.
The court directed the defendants as well as the Prosecutor General Sindh to file comments by May 19.

Her father, in his petition, had urged the court to issue an order to SSP East, SHO Alfalah police station and the investigating officer of the case for the recovery of Dua Zahra.
