Hyundai Stargazer interiors leaked ahead of global launch

Hyundai recently teased its upcoming MPV named Stargazer ahead of its global debut later this year.

Ahead of its debut, a teaser video of Stargazer has been leaked on social media. The latest spy video uploaded by Sagar Patel and Rushlane provides an insight into what the Stargazer will look like from its exterior and interiors.

As seen in the previous teaser images, the Stargazer will show a tear-drop profile with a rising window line and a curved roof and is likely to be around 4.5 meters in length. As per RushLane reports, going forward, the Stargazer will sport the signature parametric jewel theme on its grille, which is in line with Hyundai’s latest design philosophy – Sensuous Sportiness.

The grille is decorated with a thin LED stripe above it, while it has split headlamp clusters on either side. The vertically stacked LED headlamp clusters along with the wide air dam give a bold look to the front bumper.

The angular styling is more pronounced on the MPV, thanks to a large, curvy windshield and compact yet clear bonnet. On its side profile, it gets large square wheel arches that are studded with machine-cut dual-tone alloy wheels. Another major attraction is a distinctive character line running across its shoulder. The rear profile of the MPV is highlighted by H-style connected LED taillights. Its tailgate features a large hexagonal windshield and a “Stargazer” in bold letters, while the boot lid is adorned with T-shaped LED elements. Other visual highlights include a shark fin antenna and a large side step.

Inside the cabin, the Stargazer is designed to accommodate six or seven people, the former will be available with two captain seats in the middle row. Up front, there’s a large free-floating touchscreen infotainment system on the dashboard, below which are air-con vents. This infotainment unit will support both Android Auto and Apple Carplay.

The higher-spec variants of the MPV are expected to offer leather seats as well as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). There is no word on possible engine options but the Stargazer is likely to be powered by the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor that powers the Creta. This unit is enough to produce 114 bhp and 144 Nm of peak torque. Hyundai has not confirmed whether the Stargazer will be launched in India. If launched, it will lock horns with other MPVs like the Kia Carense, Maruti XL6 and Mahindra Marazzo.
