Earlier, the government used to get revenue of about Rs 6,000 crore from 850 liquor shops. After the new policy, our government got more than Rs 9,000 crore from the same shops.”

Manish Sisodia had said that before the new policy, liquor was sold in government shops, but there were also private shops. The licenses of these private shops were given to their friends and relatives. There was a lot of corruption in it. To eliminate this corruption, the new excise policy was implemented.
