Slapped for writing objectionable against Sharad Pawar

Maharashtra BJP spokesperson Vinayak Ambekar was slapped against Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar for writing objectionable comments on social media. The allegation of slapping is on NCP workers. The video of the attack has been released by state BJP chief Chandrakant Patil. Just on Saturday, Marathi cinema actress Ketki Chitale was arrested by Thane police in a similar case. Chitale had shared a derogatory post written against Sharad Pawar.

State President Patil has written on Sunday that Maharashtra State BJP spokesperson Vinayak Ambekar has been attacked by NCP goons and on behalf of BJP I strongly condemn this attack. These NCP goons must be dealt with immediately! He has written this thing in Marathi on Twitter.

The video shows some men arguing with Ambekar, who is seated at a desk. Meanwhile, a man slapped him.

On Saturday, Marathi actor Ketki Chitale and a student Nikhil Bhamre were arrested for posting objectionable posts on Pawar.

A Maharashtra court on Sunday sent Ketki Chitale to police custody till May 18. While Chitale was arrested by Thane police on Saturday, Bhamre was arrested in Nashik. Chitale has been accused of defamation and promoting enmity and spreading enmity among people. The NCP is part of the ruling coalition in Maharashtra.
