Late on Friday evening, Pawan Saini, retired Army Warrant Officer and President of the Veteran Air Warrior Association Haryana, flagged off the tricolor cycle yatra under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Mukul Kumar. This tricolor cycle yatra started from Mini Secretariat courtyard and ended at Dronacharya Stadium via SP Niwas, Dronacharya Stadium, Panchayat Bhawan, Red Cross, New Bus Stand, Mohan Nagar Road, BSNL Exchange, Sector 13 Market. In front of this cycle tricolor yatra, retired army officers Jeetram Saini, Surendra Saini, Rishi Ram, Sunil Kundu, Ajay Sharma, Lalit Gera, Poonam Sharma were walking on bullet motorcycles and bicycles carrying a big national flag. These soldiers were followed by Deputy Commissioner Mukul Kumar, ADC Akhil Pilani, District Information and Public Relations Officer Dr. Narendra Singh, retired officer Virbhan along with coaches and players of District Sports and Youth Program Department.

Deputy Commissioner Mukul Kumar said that Dharmakshetra-Kurukshetra has been completely colored in the colors of the tricolor campaign to be organized till August 15 under the Amrit Festival of Independence. During this time period, the national flag will be hoisted at 2 lakh 25 thousand houses of Kurukshetra. To make this Har Ghar tricolor campaign historic and memorable, the administration has also prepared a schedule of programs from August 2 to August 15. According to this schedule, various programs are being organized every day. The youth will play the most important role in making the ‘Har Ghar Tricolor’ campaign, being celebrated under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence historic. Therefore, the youth will have to motivate every person of the society to put the tricolor on the houses. This program has to be made a program of the general public.

He said that programs are being organized under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’ till August 15 in the entire district. This tricolor cycle yatra has been taken out in the chain of these programs.
