Council of State beheads the Supreme Court
The Council of State, with two separate sentences published today, beheaded the heads of the Court of Cassation.
In fact, the appeal by judge Angelo Spirito declared illegal the appointments, made in 2020 by the CSM, of the president of the Supreme Court Pietro Curzio and the deputy president Margherita Cassano.
The Council of State overturned a previous sentence of the Lazio TAR which, on the other hand, had confirmed the appointments and rejected the appeal.
